Clients use the Brickfish platform to launch online advertising and marketing campaigns that spark the creation of brand-focused UGC, such as blogs, images, video and audio. This content is virally shared from consumer to consumer via hundreds of social media sites, blogs, email, IM and more.
Campaign participants generate meaningful brand dialogue by creating, reviewing, sharing, voting upon, and watching brand-relevant content. These interactions are tracked with our Viral Map™ technology, which then provides detailed analytics on campaign reach, performance and demographics. This viral, consumer driven, marketing approach has proven to be 5 to 10 times more effective than existing online advertising methods such as display ads and search optimization. Scores of brands have hosted successful campaigns on Brickfish, including Kodak, Intuit, Samsung, Qualcomm, ELLE, Universal, Givenchy, Clinique, and more. Position: Director of Sales – Agencies – reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Business Development This is an exciting and challenging role, offering an opportunity to grow within a fast paced and proactive environment. We are looking for an experienced professional with extensive senior-level agency (creative, PR, media, interactive, ad) contacts, a thorough knowledge of how agency-client relationships function, and a track record of achievements. This category expert will drive Brickfish sales and relationships within the agency channel to establish Brickfish as an industry-standard new digital media offering that provides far greater value than traditional online sales such as CPM and CPC. The successful candidate will have proven category expertise with a clear ability and hunger for success. This critical role will drive agencies as a sales channel for Brickfish, providing scalable deal flow and revenue.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Establish and maintain a database, pipeline and sales forecast to drive annual revenue of $2M-$3M • Prospect and close revenue deals (campaigns) in the Agency category • Develop and refine the strategy for the Agency category to create a significant sales channel • Customize and improve presentations specific to the Agency category, in terms of both content and format • Present to and advise clients of the benefits of Brickfish’s offerings • Report business activities to company management along with recommendations • Work with clients and internal resources to design, execute and optimize online marketing campaigns • Increase the company’s brand whenever possible
Requirements: Candidates must have solid experience within the agency category and: • Extensive, current and senior contacts in agency category • Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA • Minimum seven to ten years work experience in agency category (creative, PR, interactive and ad agencies) • Exemplary record of exceeding goals • High quality references from repeat clients • Be able to work independently • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues
